I never thought
the “new city”
would cease
to appear
so lonely
just ’cause
i knew
people like you,
real yet not
far yet close
guiding me to
places i like
any day i asked
any and every time.
Dedicated to Yogesh whom i met via twitter – my first friend and guide in the “new city”.

Very nice. New cities can be scarey–it’s good to find a friend and guide.

New or old…cities can be lonely places when friendship is not there.
This made me recollect my experiences with a new city…

Such a nice poem. It is truly scary to move to a new city. Nicely done.

A good friendship is worth its weight in gold.
Great one… How a person can change the perceptions of things, life and place so powerfully… and I agree to it too.
Thanks for sharing…
