To You dear friend

You say things are no longer same

Well, I am not the only one to change;

You appear to be in some pain to me

wonder why you think its better to hide it;

You still mean so much so special in my life

I just am at loss of words to express this time;

I wish I could break the wall you think there is

but since there is none, how do i still fight it ?

  1. friendship – it’s one of the most valuable things we can have… we should cherish it and fight for it as hard as possible… I’m glad that you chose this topic. Love it!

  2. feeling much known … I hope you find solution for breaking the non-existing wall, I didn’t 🙂

    The award is much deserved! Congratulations! Once again thanks for all your support!

  3. deserved badges both Nimue 🙂 congrats!

    perhaps the friend in question is just shy to break the change, or something deep bothering him/her? maybe just busy? its a good questioning dedication, and agree, both would have had to change!

  4. Aw, you expressed the sense of hopelessness in this very well. 🙁 I hope you’re able to reach this person. Sometimes the other person is just “disconnected” and needs some time. If it’s that important to you, keep reaching out. Good luck and thanks for sharing this.

  5. Greetings:

    Hope all is well.

    Noting that you have been part of poets rally in the year of 2011,
    what an achievement, thanks for your outstanding contribution to us
    along the way, keep up the excellence. Best!

    Come join our poetry rally today if you wish to mingle and get inspired!

    A poem of your choice or a free verse is accepted.

    Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

  6. It is a sad, but I guess a pretty common experience that one person feels done with another, but the other person doesn’t. It does make for kind of an impasse, when as you put it, one sees a wall and the other doesn’t have anything to work with because they see none.

    Nice poem, and nice blog title. Thank you for sharing.

    Looks like you are a long time Rally poet. Nice to have the Rally back, huh? May you enjoy the rest of this one!
