While i have not neglected reading too much [ at least picked good pace in the last month ], I haven’t done any reviews .. something i wish to do soon. I have even decided to be a part of a book review blog started by a friend.

+ Amazing narration of most stories

+ Fresh ideas and lovely execution

– Some of the stories do not match up but that’s not a let down

The Treasured One [dreamers book # 2]

(byDavid and Leigh Eddings)

+ considering the background information provided on each character, you dnt need to read book# 1

+ good plot , good narration and some really witty dialogues

– If the repetition of scenes is going to be there, am not too excited to read book # 3.

+well written  psychological insights
+parallel narration
+a wide range of characters

-Nothing in particular

Rating : 4.5/5
(- 0.5 to give away the killer name and still have 50 pages to read till the end :P)

 

2.The Secret Country by Jane johnson

+ kids, pets, magical country, villain uncle
+ illustrations

– a little too predictable (basically its for kids till age 13)

PS : Its book 1 of the secret country triology.

+ Fast narration
+ Self revealing layers in the story
+ well crafted action scenes.

– A little confusing if you get distracted too much while reading
