Dearest You,

To all the various versions of the past , and to the ones that will come to pass tomorrow , I would like to say I love you. There been many people who inspired you, earned your respect and some will even shine brighter than the rest forever in their life. But everyone is an Individual with their own flaws and losses. Everyone makes mistakes and rises from the ashes to be different from yesterday - for better or worse. As I grew older , I realized that none can be kept at a pedestal forever if one wants to avoid disappointment and hurt later. It is best to celebrate and respect yourself first, to learn from the past and plan for the future as best as you can. So the only permanent idol I adore will be always you. The one who has always stayed positive , worked hard and survived every storm. I admire your strength as well as your vulnerability. I respect your willingness to help others as much as your eagerness to ask for help for yourself. You never fail to admit your mistakes and even if you do not change easily, your intentions and effort to fix those are never lacking sincerity. I absolutely love everything about you and wish you grow to be happier and healthier with passing times.
Stay blessed and loved. Always remember know you are awesome.

Dear Husband of mine,

I know you did not like this movie , more so because this was probably the only romantic movie date I planned for you. I also know that the only reason you agreed for this movie was because I love SRK. I don't know why I thought of this verse when I started writing this letter for you. I have written numerous poems , captions , emails and letters to you in the last 9+ years of knowing you. But every letter still seems to fall short to express how much joy you bring to my life. Your support and love for me is evident from the fact that you are the first person to know of all my celebrity crushes and you have never once felt insecure of any of my obsession with fictional characters. You have never made me feel less for the fact that your cooking skills surpass mine by leaps & bounds because I am the best sou chef and cleaner after you leave the kitchen. You inspire my writing and then take pleasure in criticizing it as much as it deserves till you are satisfied with the result. Though you take a week or more to read my works, you do read it after a few reminders atleast. You are wise beyond your age, practical wherever I am not and stubborn for anything you want. You are my anchor and wings both. You are the best gift from God and much more than mere words can show.
So in true SRK fan style , I once again tell you .. Yaad kuchh aata nahin yeh hua kabse
Ho gaya mushkil chhupana raaz yeh sabse
Tum kaho to maang loon main aaj kuchh rab se

Stay blessed always. And call more often 😘
